Minneapolis

Much has been said about Northeast Minneapolis’ burgeoning brewery scene. And it’s all true: you’ll find many craft breweries, cideries, and distilleries. Dangerous Man, Indeed Brewing, and 612 Brew were among the pioneers in the craft brew craze, bringing a wide range of creative beers to our already artsy neighborhood. But long before microbrews took over where Grain Belt left off, the neighborhood has housed a wide range of coffee shops. Many of these are little gems that provide a great space to meet neighbors, get some work done, relax, and simply enjoy the artistic environment that NE Minneapolis has become.

Northeast Minneapolis Is Like A Small Town Within A Big City

The fabric of the neighborhood is very important to me, and these coffee shops are wonderfully representative of this little slice of the Twin Cities. This is not a gated community, a high-rise condo, or a far-flung suburban environment. This is a tightly knit neighborhood whose value comes not only from the great old houses found on every block, but the wide ranging amenities that you find around each corner - and the people who use those amenities. The breweries are great for bringing people together over creative pints after work. Central Avenue boasts restaurants from all over the globe. Artists’ studios are scattered throughout the neighborhood. And anyone looking for a place to relax or a jolt of caffeine at any time throughout the day can find refuge in our myriad coffee shops. Just look at the map at the top of the page.

Each one is unique - you won’t find anything you’d see in the mall here. Instead we have a network of one-of-a-kind establishments, each with different tastes and artistic sensibilities, each comfortable in its own way. Kind of like everyone who lives and works in NE MPLS.

That’s why I love living here. Lots of others do, too. If you’re looking to buy a home in Northeast Minneapolis, give me a call. Nobody knows more about the area (my family has lived here for over 100 years). Let me show you around. I think you’ll like it.
